New Year, New You?

Updated: Feb 12

The new year has officially begun. I don't typically make "resolutions"; instead, I reflect on the past year to assess what was successful and what wasn't. Then, I envision what I want the new year to entail. As always, family, adventures, friends, business achievements, and improved habits are on the agenda.

Reflecting on the past year, my first thought was, "it passed in a blur and I didn't accomplish much." However, upon closer examination, I realized I achieved quite a lot! I had numerous spontaneous getaways, some with family and others with friends. I explored many new experiences: trying new recipes (I'm becoming quite skilled at making my own bread), creating a garden that exceeded my expectations, dining at new restaurants, visiting concert venues, discovering trails in parts of Colorado I hadn't seen before, attending various classes and training sessions to enhance my decorating and color consulting skills, engaging in LOTS of decorating, welcoming a new PUPPY, and much more.

Over time, I've grown a bit more adventurous, agreeing to more things that might have intimidated me before. However, with the new year, I am a new and hopefully improved version of myself.

Cheers to a new year! Looking forward to serving my clients to help them make solid, timeless decorating decisions to live in a home they love well beyond a trend.
